Week 1-Mission Milky Way
Mission Milky Way is an interactive preschool lesson plan that encourages children to construct knowledge through meaningful play, thoughtfully planned activities, and active exploration of the environment. Children will love investigating space.

Week 2: How Does Your Garden Grow?
Do you have a preschooler who loves gardening? If so, How Does Your Garden Grow, is the perfect interactive summer camp for your child. This lesson plan encourages children to gain knowledge through play, planned activities, and explorations. Children will gain an insight into caring and planning for a garden, what grows in a garden, who is helpful in the growth of a garden, and how gardens are beneficial to people and the environment.
*Note: This camp is 4 days old. It goes from Monday, June 15th-Thursday June 18th.

Week 3- Ocean
Get ready to make a splash and have some fun! We’ll learn about ocean animals, craft crab claws out of paper plates, and conduct experiments to determine how salt water is different than regular water. Ocean Plunge is an interactive preschool lesson plan that encourages children to construct knowledge through meaningful play, thoughtfully planned activities, and active exploration of the environment.

Week 4-Patriotic
Campers will love learning about one of America’s favorite holidays, The Fourth of July! From winning our independence to celebrating our freedom, learn what makes our country great from sea to shining sea.

Week 6- Jungle
Jungle Journey is an interactive preschool lesson plan that encourages children to construct knowledge through meaningful play, thoughtfully planned activities, and active exploration of the environment. Travel to a tropical rainforest and learn about the amazing creatures that live there. Learn about forest conservation and how it helps animals and the entire planet. We’ll also play jungle-themed games and taste-test tropical fruits.

Week 7-Music
Music Makers is an interactive preschool lesson plan that encourages children to construct knowledge through meaningful play, thoughtfully planned activities, and active exploration of the environment. The children will focus on basic knowledge of music, instruments, and famous musicians, will respond to music and dance, and will use their imagination and creativity.

Emotions
Red – orange – yellow – green – blue – indigo – violet, and every color in between! Immerse yourself in the world of color as we craft rainbows, conduct color experiments, and create spin art. We will also use this week to focus on the emotions that we are feeling as we get ready to transition back into the school year. We will have our end of summer party on Friday, with more details to come!

Vacation Bible School
Have your camper attend FUMC's Vacation Bible School and allow VMCC to handle all of the details. We will travel as a group together through all of the stations. In the afternoons, we will reflect what we did in the morning and do more VBS projects. During this week, we will not have chapel or music class. We will still have Snapology. All campers will be offered breakfast, lunch, and snack.
